Cubs Choose Their Cougar
Miss Cougar California was crowned at the Third Annual Cougar Convention held at Intramuros.
Miss Cougar California was crowned at Intramuros at a convention that celebrates the pairing of older women and younger men.
The "cubs" voted for their chosen "cougar," Kimberly Marsh, 48, of Orange County as part of the Third Annual California Cougar Convention and then danced the Saturday night away.
The men and women in attendance said these events, hosted by www.cougarevents.com, are all about letting loose and having fun.
"If men my age would take care of themselves and would be more secure of themselves to ask me out, I don't think there'd be cougars," said Melanie Garrett, who came from Granite Bay for the evening. "The good thing about cougars is there's no whining and we don't want you to put a ring on it, necessarily."

What's gross to me is the term "cubs." Think about it. Eww, right? I tried launching a movement to rename them "toms" but it failed because I didn't really care and it turned out nobody else did either.
